The Working Principle Of Pressure Reducing Valve

The pressure reducing valve is a valve that reduces the inlet pressure to a certain required outlet pressure through adjustment, and relies on the energy of the medium itself to automatically keep the outlet pressure stable. From the point of view of fluid mechanics, the pressure reducing valve is a throttling element whose local resistance can be changed, that is, by changing the throttling area, so that the flow rate and the kinetic energy of the fluid are changed, resulting in different pressure losses, so as to achieve the purpose of pressure reduction. Then it relies on the adjustment of the control and adjustment system to balance the fluctuation of the downstream pressure with the spring force, so that the downstream pressure remains constant within a certain error range.

1. The function principles of pressure reducing valve

The pressure reducing valve produced by bronze pressure reducing valve manufacturers reduces the water pressure by the local resistance of the flow channel in the valve to the water flow. The range of pressure drop is automatically adjusted by the membrane connecting the valve clack or by the difference in inlet and outlet water pressure on both sides of the piston. The principle of proportional pressure reducing that the water pressure ratio of the floating piston in the valve body is used for control, and the pressure reducing ratio at the inlet and outlet is inversely proportional to the area ratio of the piston at the inlet and outlet. This pressure reducing valve works smoothly without vibration; there is no spring in the valve body, so there is no concern of spring corrosion and metal fatigue failure; with a good sealing performance and no leakage, it reduces both dynamic pressure (when water flows) and static pressure (when the flow rate is 0); especially when the pressure reducing process does not affect the water flow.

2. The working principles of pressure reducing valve

The pressure reducing valve uses the opening degree of the opening and closing parts in the valve body to adjust the flow of the medium, reduces the pressure of the medium, and at the same time adjusts the opening degree of the opening and closing parts with the help of the downstream pressure to keep the downstream pressure within a certain range. And spray cooling water in the valve body or behind the valve to reduce the temperature of the medium. This kind of valve is called a pressure and temperature reducing valve. In the model selection, pressure reducing valve is included with advantages of automation, high quality, quick and easy operation. The characteristic of this valve is to keep the outlet pressure and temperature within a certain range when the inlet pressure is constantly changing.
